Kim Wood concluded his term as the Principal Commissioner of the Queensland Productivity Commission in 2020, having commenced in 2015. Prior to the Productivity Commission, Kim served in CEO roles predominantly in large water and electricity utilities across Australia. He has experience in both the private and government sectors.
Kim began his various CEO roles as the Sydney-based Managing Director of GEC Plessey Telecommunications. Kim has also held senior roles with BellSouth Australia and Hewlett-Packard. He originally commenced work as an engineer with the Victorian State Electricity Commission.
Kim is interested in business transformation and has experience in hands-on leadership roles. Further, he has had a range of both executive and non-executive directorships. He enjoys a challenge.
